Imanbek was presented with a state award
At the awards ceremony, the Order of Honor was presented to the first Kazakh musician to receive a Grammy, Imanbek Zeikenov.
Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan and Minister of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan Aida Balayeva personally presented state awards to compatriots who were unable to attend the official ceremony in honor of Republic Day, Kazpravda.kz reports
According to the head of the department, by decree of the Head of State, awards were given to workers in various fields who made significant contributions to the development of the country\\\'s economic sectors and public life on Republic Day. Some of them were unable to receive their awards in time because they were outside of Kazakhstan.
\\\"Today, it was a great honor for me to award our compatriots. The Order of Honor was awarded to Karlygash Kalilakhanova, former head of the Department for the Implementation of Initiatives of the Congress of the International Center for Interfaith and Interreligious Dialogue, and Imanbek Zeikenov, the first musician from Kazakhstan to win a Grammy. Actor Erkebulan Toktar was awarded the honorary title of \\\"Kazakhstan\\\'s Greatest Artist of Kazakhstan.\\\" Congratulations and thank you for your dedicated and valuable work!\\\" Aida Balayeva wrote on Facebook .
