The Committee for the Protection of Children\\\'s Rights appealed to Kazakhstanis

The Committee for the Protection of Children\\\'s Rights of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan has published an official appeal, Kazpravda.kz reports
The Committee expresses concern about a video circulated on social media showing an adult woman making derogatory remarks about a child with special educational needs on public transport.
Such behavior is unacceptable. The woman\\\'s identity is currently being established, the press service reported.
The issues of protecting children\\\'s rights and developing inclusive education occupy a central place in the work of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Every child, regardless of developmental characteristics, has the right to respect, protection and participation in the life of society, the committee noted.
- We call on all adults to strictly observe the rights of children and ensure their safety in any situation. Protecting the interests of the child is an absolute priority of state policy in the field of education, - the department added.
Let us recall that a video has spread on social networks showing a woman insulting a girl with autism on an Astana bus and telling her mother: “Get your daughter out of here, she’s annoying!”
The girl kept repeating \\\"lelele\\\" and didn\\\'t bother anyone. But the woman loudly demanded that the child be \\\"calmed down\\\", saying that she was irritating everyone.
