Nurbek Oralbay will fight for Olympic gold

The Kazakh fighter is one step away from the cherished victory, Kazpravda.kz reports.

World champion Nurbek Oralbay (80 kg) defeated Dominican Christian Javier Pinales with a score of 3:2 in the semi-finals of the Paris Olympics.

Before the final, Nurbek beat Murad Allahverdiev (1/4, Azerbaijan), Callum Peters (1/8, Australia).

In the Olympic finals, Oralbay’s opponent will be the winner of the pair Alexander Khizhnyak (Ukraine) - Arlen Lopez (Cuba).
