The grant amount is 400 MCI (1,476,800 tenge). Each participant can receive it only once.
Grant funds allow beginning entrepreneurs to unlock their business potential, establish and develop production, thereby providing themselves with a regular income.
To submit an application you must: register on the portal ; undergo verification of compliance with the conditions for receiving a grant; download a business plan template, fill it out and upload it to the portal; fill out the application form and sign with the digital signature key. Offline applications can be submitted at public service centers.
Applicants for a grant for the implementation of a new business idea can be both registered unemployed and individual entrepreneurs with a registration period of up to 3 years.
In this case, the applicant must belong to one of the following social categories: persons with disabilities; persons with current “candas” status; interregional migrants; members of low-income families; member of a large family (spouse); person raising a disabled child (spouse); recipients of survivor benefits.
The applicant must have a certificate of training in the basics of entrepreneurship under the Bastau Business project for a period of no more than 3 years.
To ensure transparency of procedures, reduce the human factor, and convenience of applicants, the entire grant process has been transferred to electronic format. Applications for grants are accepted through a single window - the portal “Business.enbek.kz”.
A grant can be obtained for the purchase of necessary equipment, tools, technological equipment, animals, livestock, poultry, seedlings, shrubs, seeds, seedlings, and payment for rent of premises.
Grants are not provided for consumer purposes, repayment of credit loans, acquisition and construction of residential real estate, acquisition of land plots, production of excisable products.
Grants are issued by labor mobility centers based on the decision of the district/city commission for reviewing applications of applicants for grants.
Applicants present their business project at commission meetings. At the same time, each member of the commission evaluates the business plan and fills out an evaluation sheet according to the following criteria: competitiveness of the business idea, elaboration of sales markets, financial viability of the business project, level of entrepreneurial skills, creation of new jobs.
Thus, the decision to provide a grant is made on a commission basis and on the basis of clear criteria for assessing the elaboration of the applicants’ business projects.
The commission’s decision is sent to the applicant’s personal account on the portal. If the commission makes a positive decision, the applicant provides bank details, signs an agreement and then submits quarterly reports on the use of funds. All this is done in electronic format, without visiting labor mobility centers and its branches (career centers).
