Dogs have helped solve more than 500 crimes
Four-legged trackers helped solve 190 thefts, 16 robberies, 2 assaults, 7 murders and 129 drug offenses, Kazpravda.kz reports with reference to Polisia.kz
These statistics are from the beginning of the year. In addition, about 130 kg of narcotic drugs were seized from illicit trafficking.

Four-legged assistants are widely used in solving crimes. Just the other day in the Aktobe region, when checking a car with a search dog, about 60 kg of drugs were discovered. Often, with their help, criminals and missing persons, including minors, are found,” said Almas Kuntuov, head of the canine service department of the department for combating drug crime of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
