The National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan presented a new series of banknotes of the national currency, based on elements of the “Saki style” and reflecting the country’s heritage - from the unique culture of nomads to modern Kazakhstan, Kazpravda.kz reports .
The new series of banknotes will go into circulation as they are produced.
The first banknote of the updated design with a nominal value of 5,000 tenge will be available by the end of this year, the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan noted.
