Kazakhstani David Degtyarev became a two-time world champion in parapowerlifting
David Degtyarev became the world champion in parapowerlifting for the second time, Kazpravda.kz reports citing the press service of the Akimat of Akmola region.
Kazakhstani managed to conquer the world championship for the second time.
In the city of Dubai (UAE) takes place the world championship in parapowerlifting. More than 600 representatives from 80 countries took to the platform.
According to the akimat, the Honored Master of Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan David Degtyarev won a gold medal as part of the national team among athletes with lesions of the musculoskeletal system in the weight category of 54 kg.
As the honored coach of the Republic of Kazakhstan Yuri Kolesnikov said, the athlete, having lifted a barbell weighing 180 kg, became a two-time world champion.
Recall that David Degtyarev, a native of the Akmola region, is the winner of the Paralympic Games 2020 in Tokyo (Japan).
Earlier it was reported that Kazakhstan won 2 medals at the world championship in bullet shooting.
