March 15 – Constitution Day

Following the conclusion of voting day, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev met at the Kazmedia Ortalygy studio with representatives of youth organizations who actively participated in the campaign for the national referendum.
The President emphasized the significance of the referendum day, which went down in history, and expressed gratitude to the young people.
\\\"This day will undoubtedly remain forever in the country\\\'s annals. From now on, March 15 will be celebrated as Constitution Day—the main document of our state. I have read the constitutions of many countries and can confidently say that our Basic Law is among the most progressive,\\\" the Head of State said.
The President emphasized that the new Constitution is primarily focused on youth. He stated that the Basic Law includes such important concepts as volunteerism, science, innovation, and artificial intelligence.
\\\"A large-scale campaign was conducted. We have a lot of work ahead. Parliamentary elections will be held this summer, and we must conduct them unitedly, as a single country. I believe this should be a youth parliament,\\\" said Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.
The meeting featured speeches by Akerke Iskenderova, chair of the Zhastar Ruhy organization; Kamil Bayramov, an entrepreneur and representative of the creative industry; and activists Yerzhan Khamitov and Nurbol Serikbay.
Young activists reported that they held approximately 5,000 various events over the course of the month, attracting over 1.5 million citizens. They also expressed their full support for all reforms being implemented in the country at the initiative of the Head of State, the Presidential Press Service reported.
