A competition for the best florist was held in Astana.

Some works even created the impression of a “living flower”
The Astana Zhastary Youth Resource Center of the city Akimat, with the support of the Youth Policy Department, held the \\\"Best Florist 2025\\\" competition at the College of Service and Tourism as part of the Year of Working Professions, Kazpravda.kz reports.
According to the capital\\\'s mayor\\\'s office, during the competition, young florists created unique floral arrangements that became true works of art. One combined delicate bouquets in a classic style, while another created creative art objects, intelligently utilizing natural elements.
Some works even gave the impression of a \\\"living flower,\\\" demonstrating the boundless imagination of the artisans. Experienced florists and qualified teachers judged the students\\\' creative work, as they wove knots from thousands of flowers.
The organizers noted that the main goal of the event is not only to give free rein to the imagination of creative people, but also to popularize their work.
\\\"This competition is a continuation of a series of events aimed at enhancing the prestige of applied professionals and developing their creative potential. We\\\'ve organized competitions across various industries, timed to coincide with the Year of Blue-Collar Professions. After all these competitions conclude at the end of the year, we\\\'ll be awarding the winners. Organizing such events for young people as part of the Year of Blue-Collar Professions celebrations is a way to show respect for them and appreciate their work,\\\" said Arailym Saparali, Head of the Youth Education and Crime Prevention Department at the Astana Zhastary Youth Resource Center.
