27.02.2025

Now Kazakhstanis can get certificate 073/u with just a few clicks

For the convenience of drivers, medical certificate form 073/u is now available in the eGov Mobile mobile application, which allows you to obtain the document even faster and easier,  Kazpravda.kz reports.

According to NIT, the service could previously be used on the eGov.kz portal, and since its launch in November 2024, Kazakhstanis have already issued more than seven thousand certificates.

Medical certificate form 073/u is a mandatory document for all drivers, which confirms the absence of contraindications to driving a vehicle.

"Previously, citizens could only receive a certificate in paper form after undergoing a medical examination by four specialists: a therapist, a psychiatrist-narcologist, an ophthalmologist and an otolaryngologist. With the launch of the service on the eGov.kz portal, the process has become much simpler - users have the opportunity to obtain a certificate in electronic format after undergoing a medical examination and submitting an application on the e-government portal. Now, to obtain a document, it is enough to use the eGov Mobile mobile application," the developers note.

To use the service, you must:

- log in to the eGov Mobile application;

- in the “Services” section, select the “Healthcare” category;

- find the service “Issuance of a medical certificate for permission to drive a vehicle (No. 073/u)”;

- sign the application using Face ID/Touch ID.

After submitting the application, the certificate will be available in the user's Personal Account history in PDF format. The document is valid for one year from the date of its receipt.

The updated functionality was implemented in cooperation with the State Services Committee of the Ministry of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media, JSC NIT and the Ministry of Health.

As a reminder, today, medical workers have issued free medications to patients based on 470 thousand prescriptions using a QR code in the “Social Wallet” section of the eGov Mobile application.
