The Astana International Forum and the Boao Asian Forum signed a memorandum of cooperation
As part of the participation of President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev in the annual session of the Boao Asian Forum, the Astana International Forum (AIF) and BFA signed a memorandum of cooperation, Kazpravda.kz reports with reference to Akorda
The parties intend to jointly promote the international and regional agenda, as well as support global measures to strengthen multilateralism and collective responsibility for building a better world.
“AIF and BFA plan to hold a number of events under common auspices in order to combine the efforts of two dialogue platforms,” the statement says.
Let us recall that this year the 23rd Boao Asian Forum was held under the motto “Asia and the world: common challenges, common responsibility.”
The President of Kazakhstan spoke at the forum as an honorary guest. The head of our state expressed confidence that Asia, realizing its economic, technological and cultural advantages, can play a decisive role in determining the future picture of the world.
In this context, he noted the practical perspective of such important international dialogue platforms as the Boao Asian Forum and the Astana International Forum (AIF). The President invited BAF guests to take part in the upcoming AIF forum in June this year.
