The number of glamping sites has grown in Kazakhstan
The number of glamping complexes in Kazakhstan increased to 38, a year ago there were 28, Kazpravda.kz correspondent reports citing the press service of the Ministry of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Now glampings operate in 8 regions of the country. They allow tourists to relax in nature, while using all the amenities - hotel rooms and related services.
The ISS is convinced that the construction of glampings is an affordable and effective business project for entrepreneurs, because glampings are gaining popularity among tourists around the world, and Kazakhstan is no exception.
So, now the complex "Kapchagay Glamping Playa" is being built in the Almaty region. It is also planned to build glamping parks A-Frame Glamping House Shalkar and Shalkar in the resort area "Imantau-Shalkar" of the North Kazakhstan region. The total capacity of both complexes is 110 beds.
“Last year, about a million foreign tourists visited Kazakhstan. This figure is expected to grow to 1.4 million this year. Foreigners mainly choose outdoor recreation, in resort areas. Therefore, the construction of glamping sites is an opportunity to further increase the tourist attractiveness of our country, following global trends,” Vice Minister of Culture and Sports Yerzhan Yerkinbayev said.
